About Us

At Liberty Network, we are more than just a congregation; we are a community united by faith, purpose, and a shared commitment to living out the teachings of Jesus Christ. Nestled in the heart of Edmond, Oklahoma, our network serves as a beacon of hope, truth, and spiritual guidance for all who seek to deepen their relationship with God.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to equipping and empowering believers to live out their faith boldly and authentically. Our mission is rooted in the Great Commission: to go forth and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded. We strive to foster a vibrant and welcoming environment where individuals can grow spiritually, engage in meaningful worship, and connect with a supportive community.

Liberty Pastors

Liberty Pastors is an integral part of our network's mission. It is a movement committed to training and equipping pastors to lead their congregations with courage, integrity, and biblical conviction. Through conferences, seminars, and resources, Liberty Pastors aims to strengthen church leaders in their roles as shepherds of their flocks, helping them to address contemporary cultural challenges with timeless scriptural wisdom.

The Church: We believe in the importance of the local church as the body of Christ, called to worship God, grow in faith, and serve the world.

Statement of Faith

  • We believe there is but one God, eternally existent as three persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe the Bible is the Holy, inerrant, infallible, plenary Word of God.

  • We believe Satan is a literally created being and fallen angel who is the sworn enemy of God and man.

  • We believe in a literal six-day creation as recorded in Genesis. "In the beginning," God created man, and man did not evolve from a lower life form.

  • We believe Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden, separated himself from God because of sin, and that mankind is sinful, both by nature and by choice.

  • We believe Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh.

  • We believe He is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin, and that He paid our sin debt in full as the Lamb of God by shedding His blood on the Cross, and that three days later, He rose from the dead; victorious over sin and death, and is ascended back to His former glory and is seated at the right hand of the Heavenly Father.

  • We believe if a man recognizes that he is a sinner and cannot earn heaven by merit, believes that Jesus Christ fully paid for our sins by His substitutionary death on the Cross as the perfect Lamb of God, that His blood was shed to atone for man's sin; and Jesus literally rose from the dead in a glorified body proving that He is the LORD and that our sin debt has been paid in full; and if a man by faith trusts Jesus to be his personal Savior and Lord - that man is instantaneously born again into the family of God, and indwelt by the Holy Spirit. We believe this is the new birth. We are to be discipled into Christian maturity, following Jesus daily to the best of our ability as the Scripture directs in EVERY area of life. Jesus is not just the Lord of Sunday mornings; He is Lord of all.

  • We believe Jesus will return for His own in the Rapture before the Tribulation, return with His own at the close of the Tribulation at the Battle of Armageddon, and establish His Millennial Kingdom on this earth from Jerusalem for 1,000 years.

  • We believe Satan will be loosed for a short time at the end of the 1,000 years; then, the Lord will put down all rebellion finally and forever. Those who reject Christ will be judged, found wanting, and cast into the Lake of Fire.  There will be a New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem where God will dwell with His people forever, and there will be no more sin, sorrow, or tears.

  • Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in the newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a public testimony to his faith as a follower of Jesus Christ and in the final resurrection of the dead.

  • The Lord's Supper is an act of obedience in which members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming. It was instituted at the last Passover Seder Jesus spent with His disciples.

  • We believe that "apostles," as the term is used in the Bible, refers to those who had seen the resurrected Messiah and were sent by Him. God is capable of doing His will through any means. We believe in modern faith healing but not faith healers. Likewise, we believe the Bible is complete, and no further revelations are generally imparted to man.

  • We believe the miracle of languages at Pentecost was that the Apostles spoke, and those who spoke other languages were able to understand in their own language and even dialect. We do not practice unknown prayer languages.  Prayer is communication with God.

  • Religious Liberty: God alone is Lord of the conscience, and He has left it free from the doctrines and commandments of men that are contrary to His Word or not contained in it. Church and state should be separate. The state owes every church protection and freedom to pursue its spiritual ends. In providing for such freedom, no ecclesiastical group or denomination should be favored by the state more than others. God established civil government, and civil authorities are even called "ministers of God to thee for good." The civil authority is charged by God and ordained to punish evildoers and protect the good.  It is the duty of Christians to submit to proper(not perverse) government in the Lord, whether it be self, family, church, or civil. The church should not use civil authorities to carry on its work. The Gospel of Christ contemplates spiritual means alone to pursue its ends.  The state has no right to impose penalties for religious opinions. The state has no right to impose taxes to support any form of religion. The state has no right to force church closures even when there is a declared emergency.  A free church in a free state is the Christian ideal, and this implies the right of free and unhindered access to God on the part of all men and the right to form and propagate opinions in the sphere of religion without interference by civil power.

  • Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality: We believe God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female.  These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God.  Rejection of one's biological gender is a rejection of the image of God within that person. We believe the term "marriage" has only one meaning: marriage sanctioned by God, which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. We believe God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other. We believe God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, pornography, and attempting to change one's biological sex or otherwise acting upon any disagreement with one's biological sex) is sinful and offensive to God. We believe in order to preserve the function and integrity of the church as the local Body of Christ and to provide a biblical role model to the church members and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by the church in any capacity or who serve as volunteers, should abide by and agree to this Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality and conduct themselves accordingly. We believe God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. We believe every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture or the doctrines of the church.
